About me

I am a qualified Clinical Psychologist (DClinPsy) registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC). I qualified after completing the Doctorate in Clinical Psychology at the University of East Anglia. I have subsequently trained in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) at the Oxford Cognitive Therapy Centre, Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) in London.
I have worked for the past 17 years in the NHS specialising in children’s and young people’s mental health. For the past 10 years I have worked as Principal Clinical Psychologist in a senior leadership role in services in Cambridge and London. I have a range and depth of clinical experience working with children, young people and families, conducting assessments and delivering successful therapies. I specialise in trauma and mood and anxiety disorders including social anxiety, phobias, obsessive-compulsive disorder and excessive worry. I am caring, friendly and collaborative in my approach. I have many years of experience working alongside schools and voluntary and statutory services.
