About me

Dr Mark Vanderpump’s main area of expertise is thyroid disease but his clinical practice includes all aspects of Diabetes and Endocrinology.

He frequently see referrals and manage some of the less frequently occurring conditions such as thyroid cancer; pituitary conditions such as acromegaly; and adrenal disorders including Addison’s disease, plus calcium and bone disorders.

The former President of the British Thyroid Association, he has published on various aspects of thyroid disease, written a book on the subject and has a popular blog on his website.

Dr Vanderpump spends time teaching and lecturing nationally and internationally. He also undertakes medico-legal work within his speciality.
