About me

James is a Consultant in Sport & Exercise Medicine with the Ministry of Defence at the Regional Rehabiltation Unit in Halton, providing high level musculoskeletal care to members of the armed forces. He is the Club Doctor at Oxford United Football Club, the Lead Doctor for the GB and England Hockey Development Squads and a Development Squad Doctor for the Football Association. He has worked in a variety of sports, including Premier League football, cricket, rugby and has worked as a multisport practitioner with the English Institute of Sport.

James is experienced in the assessment and management of a variety of presentations, including acute musculoskeletal injuries, chronic training-related problems, mechanical pain, chronic pain and complex musculoskeletal problems.
