About me
I am a BPS and HCPC Registered Counselling Psychologist and UKCP integrative psychotherapist, offering assessment, formulation and treatment sessions for children, young adults and adults. I qualified in 2012, and have worked in mental health and education since 2001, giving me a breadth of experience in managing complexity.
Whether you are a child, parent or adult seeking support, my aim is to help by taking the time to listen and understand exactly where you need support. I use evidence-based psychological tools to come up with a formulation specific to what you bring and work together in suggestions for moving forward.
As well as private practice, I have worked for over a decade within NHS settings such as GP practice, hospital settings within cancer, neurology, diabetes, ENT, ophthalmology and paediatrics. My specialism is in the intersection between mental and physical health across all ages from 5-99 years, with experience supporting people living with chronic conditions.
As an existential therapist I have experience in working with every life stage, with parents supporting their child starting school to an older adult, facing loneliness. It is always a privilege to bear witness to each client's unique story, and work creatively and collaboratively to support them.
