About me

After being fully trained in surgery in general I began specialising in orthopaedic surgery from 1990. As a paediatric orthopaedic surgeon I continue to treat all parts of the musculoskeletal system and frequently
transfer these skills to manage complex conditions in adults of all ability. I am known for my caring attitude, support for my patients, excellent surgical technique, high success rates, attention to detail and communication skills.

I continue to manage all fractures and acute bone and joint infections in patients of all ages.

Young adult hip; complex fractures; pelvic and acetabular fractures, pelvic and femoral osteotomies, limb reconstruction; children's fractures; children's orthopaedics; surgery and or botox for cerebral palsy and other neuromuscular disorders in children and adults; surgery for correction of congenital and acquired deformity deformity; correction of limb length discrepancy or misalignment; guided growth; bone and joint infections; congenital hip dislocation (CDH) or developmental dysplasia of the hip (DDH); club foot; congenital talipes equinovarus (CTEV) surgery and or Ponsetti casting; tendon transfers; arthrodesis or fusion or osteotomy for foot and ankle problems; hallux valgus (bunions); carpal tunnel decompression; arthroscopy (key hole surgery); children's knee problems; subacromial impingement; frozen shoulder; slipped upper femoral epiphysis; Perthes disease
