Mr Chalmers trained in vascular surgery in Edinburgh, London and the USA. He has an extensive practice in vascular surgery including complex aortic surgery, carotid disease and lower limb ischaemia. His venous practice encompasses all methods of treatment currently available for varicose vein disease ranging from surgery through minimally-invasive thermal ablation to sclerotherapy and foam.
