I am an experienced chartered Health Psychologist and accredited CBT therapist. I also have a master practitioner diploma in eating disorders which includes nutritional interventions. I specialise in eating disorders, disordered eating, depression, anxiety disorders, obsessive compulsive disorder, insomnia, body dysmorphia and obesity. I have many years’ experience working as a psychologist in the NHS and in private practice. I believe in establishing a rapport with clients and working collaboratively towards a shared understanding of exploring your difficulties to find the best way forward for you. I work with a range of therapeutic approaches including, Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Compassionate Focused Therapy and Positive Psychology.
My area of interest and expertise is eating disorders, disordered eating, depression and generalised anxiety, health and social anxiety. I offer individual sessions based on each client's needs. As a health psychologist I also specialise in supporting people to manage the impact of health conditions and manage chronic pain.
One of my strengths is establishing a rapport with people and working collaboratively with each person to find the therapeutic approach best suited to each client’s needs to help you to improve your quality of life.
