About me

I am an experienced chartered Health Psychologist and accredited CBT therapist. I also have a master practitioner diploma in eating disorders which includes nutritional interventions. I specialise in eating disorders, generalised anxiety, health anxiety, social anxiety, depression, anxiety disorders, obsessive compulsive disorder, insomnia, body dysmorphia and phobias. I have many years experience working as a psychologist in the NHS and in private practice. I believe in establishing a rapport with clients and working collaboratively towards a shared understanding of exploring your difficulties to find the best way forward for you. I work with a range of therapeutic approaches including, Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Compassionate Focused Therapy and Mindful techniques.

My area of interest and expertise is eating disorders, depression, generalised anxiety, OCD, phobias health and social anxiety. I offer individual sessions based on each client's needs. Over the years I have worked with some lovely people to support them with their mental health to bring about long lasting change. Every person's experience is unique and I do my best to help in a compassionate and non-judgmental manner.
One of my strengths is establishing a rapport with people and working collaboratively with each person to find the therapeutic approach best suited to each client needs to help you to improve your quality of life.
