About me
Dr Bowling was appointed as a Consultant in 1996. He specialises in all aspects of gastroenterology and has a nationally recognised sub-speciality expertise in nutrition and nutrition support.
He is past President of the British Association of Parenteral and Enteral Nutrition (BAPEN).
He is a Council member of the European Society for Clinical Nutrition and Metabolism, the British Society of Gastroenterology and the Nutrition Committee of the Royal College of Physicians. He also sits on numerous other national and international committees primarily relating to nutrition.
