About me

If you are a trauma survivor, I see you. I’m here for you. I provide a safe space to explore what happened to you. Together, we’ll find ways to manage the psychological and physiological distress that is a result of trauma. You are not alone. My collaborative process creates a safe space for you to work through your traumatic experience(s) and come out stronger on the other side. I will empower you to make choices to live your life in accordance with your values and beliefs. I am an inclusive therapist and work with everyone who has experienced trauma, including marginalized and under-represented groups of people.

My compassionate approach to trauma therapy emphasizes empowerment, growth, and change. I’m here to help you get unstuck from the patterns of behaviour that no longer serve you as a result of trauma. I use EMDR, CBT, Cognitive Analytical Therapy, compassion-focused and trauma-informed therapy. If you feel disconnected or stuck, I can help.

I am the founder of Taproot Psychology, a private practice that works with survivors of trauma. My work is solely online, which gives you the opportunity to create a space that feels safe and comforting as we work through difficult memories and experiences. I will walk with you on the journey to mental wellness and freedom from the distress of your trauma.
