Sometimes life brings challenges that can leave us feeling overwhelmed and unable to cope. Talking to a qualified counsellor, who adheres to the ethical principles of confidentiality and can offer a safe and non-judgmental environment, can help make your problems more manageable.
Some common problems that people have found counselling can help with include anxiety, depression, relationship issues, bereavement, problems at work, trauma, addiction, sexuality, feelings of loneliness and isolation, lack of confidence, low self-esteem issues among other things.
I offer a professional, caring and confidential counselling service based in West Norfolk and I am a registered and accredited member and work with the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy Ethical Framework for Good Practice – www.bacp.com
My mission statement
"I am a firm believer in the human spirit and people’s ability to overcome even the most tragic of circumstances. As a counsellor, I am honoured to be able to offer individuals a non-judgemental place of trust where any emotions can be shared in confidence and explored at their own pace".

Background
I was born in Brazil and came to England in 1975. I wanted to learn English and return home to realise my dream of becoming a special educational needs teacher. But life had other plans for me. I fell in love, married an English man and we started a family. Whilst raising my children, I worked for many years at a global organisation in people-related roles. Upon being made redundant, I tried hard to deal with some conflicting, painful and personal issues, leading me to seek counselling for the first time. This was the beginning of a new and special chapter in my life. One that led me to
find my inner balance and peace, while also inspiring me to become a counsellor and psychotherapist and offer this gift to others.
