About me
I began my career as a professional musician, working for eighteen years in the music industry before pursuing a lifelong interest in mental health and well-being. I have an honours degree in psychology, a post-graduate diploma in psychodynamic counselling and a masters degree in clinical psychotherapy. My experience spans over ten years in both the private and public sector and my therapeutic approach is best described as integrative, because it draws on the theoretical, philosophical and clinical convictions of psychodynamic, cognitive behavioural (CBT) and family therapy. I work with adults (individuals and couples), young people and families. I am also a personal development group facilitator for post graduate students training in psychodynamic counselling at The University of Brighton. I work face to face from my practice in Hove and remotely via Zoom, Skype & FaceTime.
