About me

Sarah completed her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology at the University of Surrey and has worked for the NHS for over 10 years. Currently, she works as a Highly Specialist Clinical Psychologist in an NHS Clinical Health Psychology service. Within this service she specialises in helping people adjust to living with long-term health conditions and illness, particularly those neurological conditions.

Prior to working in health psychology, Sarah worked in an adult mental health service, with adults experiencing difficulties with depression and anxiety. This included helping people with obsessive compulsive disorder, generalised anxiety, health anxiety, social anxiety, panic disorder, phobias, post-traumatic stress disorder and other common problems such as work-related stress, poor sleep, low self-esteem and difficulties managing anger.
