About me

Appointed as an orthopaedic consultant in 1998 I specialise in upper limb, particularly shoulder and elbow.
My practice includes arthroscopic surgery and open surgery, including joint replacement (I am one of the highest volume shoulder replacement surgeons in the country).
In addition, I am a national level examiner in orthopaedic surgery and I instruct on arthroscopic courses for trainees.
I am a member of the British Elbow & Shoulder Society as well as the South Thames shoulder & elbow group.

Elbow Ulnar nerve release; Treatment for both Golfers and Tennis elbow; Elbow arthritis including elbow replacement

Shoulder: Frozen shoulder; Rotator cuff impingement and repair; Shoulder pain
Fracture fixation; AC joint reconstruction;
Major interest in shoulder replacement including use of the "Reverse" shoulder replacement both in the presence of arthritis or fracture.
