About me

As an Integrative CBT and EMDR Therapist, I specialise in treating a diverse array of mental health disorders, including addiction, depression, anxiety, OCD, POCD, stress, phobias, abuse, and issues related to self-worth, self-esteem, and self-confidence. I possess a particular interest in addressing trauma and am currently working towards specialising in child therapy.

My clients range from ages 6 to 85, with various reasons for seeking therapy, such as sex addiction, low self-esteem, relationship challenges, autism, death anxiety, alcohol dependency, and work-related stress.

With over 20 years of experience in business management, focusing on motivation and mentoring, I bring a wealth of life skills to my practice. Within our therapeutic relationship, you can expect a non-judgmental, compassionate, and understanding approach, coupled with a level of challenge tailored to facilitate meaningful change.

I maintain an inclusive and respectful attitude towards the LGBTQIA communities, ensuring a non-judgmental environment.

As a professional, I engage in monthly supervision to enhance and regulate my practice, and I am also a qualified clinical supervisor. I hold accreditations with the BABCP, BACP, NCS, abiding by their respective Ethical Frameworks. I am fully insured to practise and am registered with Disclosure Scotland's PVG Scheme. My clients are always provided with access to certificates, insurances, and qualifications.

My practice is based in Stonehouse, Lanarkshire, and Glasgow, with home visits and telephone counselling available upon request.
