About me

Consultant since 1992 at Basildon Hospital, in the last 7 years I have been solely in private practice. 37 years of experience in the speciality. I consider myself as a general gynaecologist even though my initial training was as a Gynaecologic Oncologist. My area of interest are complex pelvic surgery, urogynaecology with a special interest in Day case surgery. I tend to perform the majority of pelvic floor surgery as day cases, less than 3% of my patients have overnight stay after pelvic floor surgery.

I have 35 years experience in performing colposcopy and treatment of abnormal cervical smears.

I consider patient involvement in decision making process as the most important aspect of my practice.
