Pauline Drizen CBT Therapist and Counsellor

I am a CBT Therapist , BABCP Accredited and a Counsellor, BACP Accredited.I am a warm and empathetic therapist and my main aim is to fulfil the emotional needs of my client and listen and understand. As a CBT Therapist I aim to give the client tools and techniques to help them work through their issues like anxiety, depression, relationship , work , bereavement or trauma.
My speciality is in depression ,anxiety and trauma. Most people at some time of their lives become , depressed , anxious or traumatised. Depression can be caused by external events like redundancy, relationship break ups, illnesses , losses and bereavements . major losses
In my practice , I work with many modalities, CBT , Counselling, EMDR and I am a supervisor for other therapists. I work with equality and diversity and follow the BACP Code of Etfhics. I work with children, adults, couples and families. I work with disability, visually impaired, clients with pain and in wheel chairs

My areas of interest are depression , anxiety disorders : GAD ( Generalized anxiety), Health anxiety, phobias, PTSD, OCD, Travel anxiety, Eating disorders, addictions -alcohol, drugs, smoking , gambling .
