About me
Tor qualified from the University of Newcastle in 2007 with a BSc Honours in Speech and Language Sciences. She worked in East Berkshire for the NHS between 2007 and 2014 and then part time for Buckinghamshire Healthcare Trust until 2017. Her most recent NHS post was Clinical Lead in ENT and Upper Airway specialist speech and language therapy at the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford.
Tor founded her private practice VoiceFit in 2020 and now works in private practise full time. She specialises working with children and adults with voice and upper airway disorders including voice change, acid reflux, sore throat, chronic cough, laryngeal hypersensitivity and Inducible Laryngeal Obstruction. She has extensive experience and further training in advanced therapy techniques and working in joint voice clinics with specialist laryngologists, speech therapy led nasendoscopy clinics, Botox clinics for spasmodic dysphonia and severe asthma/special airways clinics with Respiratory Physicians and physiotherapists.
