About me

Dr Gislene Wolfart is the Lead Psychologist at Oxford Mind and Body with several years of experience working in public and private sectors, as well at the university counselling services.

Gislene works with a variety of presentations (including anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, OCD, relationship difficulties and bereavement, amongst others) and specialises in the treatment of eating disorders and their co-morbidities.

Gislene is trained in different psychotherapeutic approaches including CBT, CBT-E, Psychodynamic Psychotherapy, and Mentalisation Based Therapy. This enables her to offer NICE recommended treatments but also to tailor therapy to suit each client’s needs, after all one size does not fit all.

In therapy, Gislene aims to build a collaborative and trusting relationship, where challenges can be faced open heartedly.

Gislene is a Chartered Psychologist Specialising in Psychotherapy and an Associate Fellow of the British Psychological Society (CPsychol ROSPIP AFBPsS). Gislene is registered as a Practicing Psychologist with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and she works alongside a group of other great Psychologists and Psychotherapists at Oxford Mind & Body delivering therapy from central Oxford.
