About me
I specialise in the treatment of breast, oesophageal, stomach, pancreas, biliary tract and liver cancers and have expertise in the use of chemotherapy, endocrine therapy, targeted therapy and immunotherapy.
I was appointed as a Consultant Medical Oncologist at Portsmouth Hospitals University Trust in 2018 and I'm also a visiting Consultant at St Richards Hospital Chichester. I qualified at the Royal Free and University College Medical School in London, and trained in Medical Oncology at Imperial College London.
I have worked as a clinical scientist at the Medical Research Council Clinical Trials Unit at UCL, where I worked on phase III cancer trial design and management and was awarded a Medical Doctor by Research (MDres) for my thesis on repurposing medicines of the adjuvant treatment of cancer and have published extensively on the subject.
I am currently chemotherapy (SACT) lead in Portsmouth Hospitals NHS Trust.
