About me

Dr Radu Iosub is a patient-centred Consultant Psychiatrist with a strong commitment to clinical excellence.

He brings a broad foundation in research and evidence-based practice. In 2006, he was awarded a summa cum laude PhD from Giessen University (Germany). Following this, he was appointed as a Research Fellow in Neurophysiology at the University of Bristol, where he worked for three years and also taught medical students.

Dr Iosub completed his psychiatric training in Bristol (2011�2017) and became a Member of the Royal College of Psychiatrists in 2014. In recognition of his clinical and leadership contributions, he received the Severn Deanery's Registrar of the Year award in his final year of training.

In 2016, Dr Iosub was one of only two UK psychiatrists selected for a competitive bursary to attend the prestigious ECNP Summer School of Neuropsychopharmacology in Oxford.

Dr Iosub offers private consultations by appointment, specialising in the treatment of addictions, compulsive behavioural disorders (including compulsive gambling), anxiety, mood and psychotic spectrum disorders, trauma (PTSD), and dual diagnoses.
