Trained at Jesus College, Oxford and St Thomas' Hospital, London. Qualified in 1986.
Have been a Consultant Cardiologist since 1999.
June 2016 - Appointed Medical Director and Consultant Cardiologist at The Royal Brompton & Harefield NHS Foundation Trust.
2014 - 2015 - Director of the Harefield Heart Division.
1999 - 2014 - Consultant Cardiologist at Hillingdon and Harefield Hospitals. I combined my clinical work with clinical leadership roles, first as the Clinical Director for Medicine and then as joint Medical Director and Responsible Officer for The Hillingdon Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
