About me

If you're feeling anxious, stuck, or overwhelmed, you don't have to face it alone.

Life can bring challenges that feel too heavy to manage by yourself. Whether it's a difficult relationship or the weight of past experiences. Perhaps its living by rules, beliefs, or expectations that don't serve you but cause distress, or a sense that something just isn't right.

As a qualified, professional counsellor and psychotherapist, I offer empathy, attentiveness, and a secure space where you can be truly heard. You don't need to have the right words, our sessions are a safe, reflective space to explore your feelings and experiences at your pace.

What I Help With:
I work with people experiencing a wide range of issues, including:
 Anxiety, stress, and panic
 Depression, low self-esteem, and self-criticism
 Grief, loss, and bereavement
Relationship difficulties (partners, family, friends, colleagues)
Recovery from narcissistic or emotionally abusive relationships
Trauma, PTSD, and the impact of childhood abuse or domestic violence
Coping with chronic illness and long-term health conditions
Infertility and living a childless life
 Postnatal depression
 Anger and emotional regulation
Bullying, workplace stress, and interpersonal problems

How I Work:
I am an integrative counsellor and psychotherapist, which means I blend different therapeutic approaches to suit each client. I trained in the Relational model, a powerful psychodynamic-based approach that looks at how our past relationships and patterns influence how we connect today. Understanding these patterns, including those that emerge in the therapeutic relationship, helps us shape healthier, more fulfilling connections.

I also draw on a range of other therapeutic styles, including:
Person-centred counselling (warmth, genuineness, and acceptance)
 Transactional Analysis
 Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)
 IAPT Counselling for Depression
 Solution-focused approaches
 Compassion-focused therapy
This allows me to work flexibly with adults on both a short- and long-term basis, depending on your needs.

What to Expect:
Our first session is a chance to talk about what's happening in your life right now and what you'd like from therapy. Many people find relief simply in being listened to without judgment. From there, we can begin to make sense of your experiences, explore new perspectives, and support you in making the changes you want for yourself.

Location & Availability:
I work from a modern, city-centre location with good public transport links and nearby parking. I also offer online counselling for those who prefer to work together remotely.
