About me

Dr Ugoh is a Consultant Psychiatrist in General Adult and Addiction Psychiatry, working for the Essex Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust. Dr Ugoh has specialist experience in the assessment and management of a variety of mental health disorders as well as alcohol, substance and behavioural addiction. He is an expert in managing also people with mental health conditions and co-existing alcohol/ substance misuse presentations. He has a passion for quality improvement in care and practice.

Dr Ugoh provides treatment and care for both self-funded patients and those with medical insurance. He also provides mental capacity assessments and court of protection reports.

Areas of interest

I am a general adult psychiatrist and specialist in the assessment and management of mental disorders including Clinical Depression, BPAD, ADHD, Schizophrenia, Social and Generalized Anxiety etc.

I am also on the specialist register as an addiction psychiatrist with expertise in the management of alcohol misuse/dependency, illicit and prescribed drugs dependencies as well as managing people with dual diagnosis(co-existing mental health and addiction).
