About me
I am a qualified and accredited counsellor and psychotherapist with over 11 years of experience supporting individuals and couples through life's challenges. I am here to offer you a safe, compassionate, and confidential space where you can explore your thoughts and feelings without judgment. Together, we will navigate your journey toward healing, growth, and greater self-awareness.
I specialise in helping clients with issues such as anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, bereavement, relationship difficulties, fertility, miscarriage, pregnancy related issues, abuse, addictions, major life transitions. I also have a particular passion for supporting couples in improving communication, rebuilding intimacy, and overcoming challenges such as fertility struggles, miscarriage, and pregnancy complications.
I believe that therapy is most effective when tailored to your unique needs. I work with couples, other relationships and individuals using approach that integrates psychodynamic therapy, attachment theories, neuroscience, couple therapies and other evidence-based practices such as CBT techniques.
Whether you are couple or parent and child or an individual looking for short-term more goal-oriented therapy (1224 sessions) or open-ended support, I will work collaboratively with you at a pace that feels right. Together, we will explore not only your current challenges but also the deeper patterns rooted in past experiences. This process can help you uncover meaningful insights, foster resilience, and build a more fulfilling life.
In my couple work we will explore the dynamics of the relationship, what both partners bring into the relationship and how it impacts the relationship. We will explore what is no longer serving the relationship and finds new ways of relating and appreciating. Part of the work will be regular homework that will help you build the relationship.
I am an accredited member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), adhering to their Ethical Framework for Good Practice. I also follow the BACP's Online and Phone Therapy (OPT) competence framework.
