About me

You may have been struggling with emotional issues for some time but have now come to realise these issues will not disappear on their own and you would like help to address what is happening. You may be experiencing symptoms such as anxiety, depression, obsessions or physical tension, that are exhausting and difficult to manage. You may have started to become aware of patterns of behaviour that are frequently occurring such as relationship/friendship difficulties, interpersonal problems,or struggles to assert yourself effectively. Hopefully your goal will now be optimism for a better future and this is the start of your journey.
Therapy offers you time to start to making sense of your current emotional life and the patterns of behaviour that have emerged in your life. This will help us identify where change is needed, either from your existing emotional resources or development of new skill sets.
Therapy is a chance to look at your emotional life in a safe, non judgemental environment. Acknowledgement of your problems is complicated- both scary but empowering- it gives you the opportunity to work to a stronger, satisfying, more comfortable future.
