About me

I am a Consultant Gynaecologist, with more than 30 years experience in women's health, with a particular emphasis on peri-menopause, menopause and complex hormonal problems including PMS/PMDD. I am a British Menopause Society Advanced Practitioner - one of only 250 currently accredited in the UK.

To promote excellence in my specialty, I established my own dedicated women's health clinic, The Amara Clinic, in Tunbridge Wells, where I am mainly based and which is recognised separately as a BUPA Facility. The clinic is supported by an all-female healthcare team who provide a comprehensive range of healthcare including medical consultations, wellbeing and lifestyle management, CBT, cervical smear tests, blood tests, ultrasound imaging and private prescriptions.

In addition to hormonal disorders, I also offer management of menstrual problems, vulval conditions, and pelvic floor/bladder concerns. I focus on a ' female centric ' approach to gynaecological problems, enabling women to discuss intimate and personal concerns in a friendly and approachable environment, which I believe is key to providing high quality care.

I also practice at KIMS Hospital in Kent and 25 Harley Street in London and offer the convenience of either in person or virtual appointments at all clinic locations.
