About me

I am a Respiratory Consultant and provide care that is respectful and responsive to individual patient needs. I am passionate about taking a holistic approach in managing patients with chronic respiratory conditions.

I did my MBBS in India from TN Dr M.G.R Medical University in Chennai. I completed my core medical training in Wales and then moved to London to complete my higher training in Respiratory Medicine.

I received Best Newcomer Prize in April 2008 during first year of Higher training.

My NHS practice is at Ashford and St Peters Hospital (ASPH), where I have introduced Medical Thoracoscopy which is a highly regarded service. I have also set up collaborative MDT with Royal Brompton Hospital to improve the care of patients with Pulmonary Fibrosis at ASPH.

As the lead for Respiratory Medicine at ASPH, I led the departmental response to the Covid-19 Pandemic and have developed expertise in acute as well as Chronic/Long Covid.

I have received Clinical Excellence awards in 2017 and 2020.
