About me

With the ever–increasing pressures in daily life, it is no surprise that we feel under pressure. When faced with difficult situations or transitions in our work or private life, we often feel as though we should be able to handle these situations, seeing the need for support as a sign of weakness. This can ultimately lead to a sense of overwhelm, stress, anxiety, low mood, depression, anger, jealousy and any other naturally occurring negative emotions. Over time, this can cause a decrease in self-esteem, confidence, and motivation that then feeds into negative patterns of thinking, feelings and behaviours. Therapy provides professional support and an opportunity to explore these difficulties in a safe and therapeutic space. It provides a space to process and deal with the areas of life that bring painful and negative thoughts and feelings, allowing to work towards acceptance, increased hope and a more positive mind-set.
