About me

I am an Ophthalmic Surgeon. I qualified from London University in 1986 and received my ophthalmic training at Moorfields Eye Hospital, London. I specialise in cataracts and refractive lens exchange, the use of premium lenses including Synergy multifocal lenses, Eyehance and Symfony EDOF (extra depth of vision monofrocal lenses) and astigmatic corrections; macular degeneration, glaucoma, diabetic eye disease, other retinal conditions and general ophthalmology.

Cataract surgery; refractive lens exchange, multifocal and toric lenses; YAG laser treatment; Glaucoma/high eye pressure; laser iridotomy; trabeculectomy; macular degeneration; Avastin, Lucentis, Eylea and Vabysmo; diabetic eye disease; Ozurdex injections/argon laser; laser for floaters; contact lens problems; retinal tears/ detachments;retinal problems, drusen and vein occlusions; excision of pterygium; incision and excision of eyelid lumps/chalazion; general eye problems; watery eye, glare, dazzle, itchy, red or inflamed eyes; dry eyes; insertion of punctal plugs; double vision; eye problems in children; Certificate of Visual Impairment (CVI) assessment; general ophthalmology; aesthetic treatments including toxins and dermal fillers.
