About me
I completed my training rotating in London (North Thames East) and East of England deaneries gaining all the medical, clinical and surgical expertise of both regions. Shortly after obtaining my CCT, I was appointed as consultant gynaecology in Croydon university hospital NHS trust.
Areas of interest include colposcopy, medical and surgical management of menstrual disorders and pelvic pain, recurrent miscarriages and minimal access (keyhole) surgery including hysterectomy, myomectomy (fibroid removal), ovarian cystectomy and treatment of endometriosis.
My special area of interest is diagnosis and management of vulval conditions including vulvodynea. I am the founder and leader of vulval specialist services in my NHS trust.
Academically, I teach both under and postgraduates with several publications in per review journals.
My approach to diagnosis and management of gynaecological conditions is based on open discussions with my patients, providing them with adequate information and empowering them via sharing different management options within a holistic view tailored to every and each demand.
