About me

I have been working therapeutically since 2008 and graduated in 2010 from Bath Spa University. I am an accredited member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) governing body.

My aim is to build a trusting, supportive, and collaborative therapeutic relationship where you feel safe to explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences at your own pace. Together, we can make sense of confusing or conflicting emotions, identify unhelpful patterns, and work towards meaningful and lasting change.

I offer both short-term counselling and longer-term psychotherapy for adults experiencing a wide range of emotional and psychological difficulties, including anxiety, depression, trauma, bereavement, low self-esteem, self-critical thoughts, relationship difficulties, workplace stress, life transitions, and the impact of difficult childhood experiences.

My approach is attachment-based, recognising how our earliest relationships can shape the way we experience ourselves, manage emotions, and relate to others throughout life. In therapy, we can explore these patterns with curiosity and compassion, helping you develop greater self-awareness, emotional resilience, and healthier ways of relating.
Short-term therapy focuses on specific concerns and developing practical strategies to manage current challenges. Longer-term, open-ended psychotherapy offers the opportunity to explore deeper emotional patterns, attachment experiences, and childhood and adolescent relationships that may continue to influence your wellbeing, relationships, and sense of self today.

I have supported people recovering from emotionally abusive or controlling relationships, including the impact of narcissistic abuse, coercive control, gaslighting, and relational trauma. I also work with clients experiencing difficulties with boundaries, people-pleasing, loss of identity, and the lasting effects of unhealthy relationship dynamics.

Alongside my private practice, I have extensive experience working within NHS-funded services. I have worked as a clinical supervisor and assessor for an NHS-funded charity and spent ten years as a psychotherapist supporting adult survivors of trauma. I also worked for five years within a specialist bereavement service, helping clients navigate grief, loss, and significant life changes.

I welcome referrals for adults seeking support with anxiety, depression, trauma, bereavement, workplace stress, relationship difficulties, attachment issues, low self-esteem, emotional regulation, recovery from narcissistic abuse, and the long-term esteem, emotional regulation, recovery from narcissistic abuse, and the long-term impact of adverse life experiences.

My aim is to provide a confidential, non-judgemental space where you feel heard, understood, and supported to create lasting emotional wellbeing and positive change.
