About me
I am a Senior Consultant in Cardiology, qualified in Medicine for 35 years. I am Clinical Lead for Cardiology at the South Yorkshire Cardiothoracic Centre in Sheffield, the Regional Cardiothoracic Unit.
I have a particular interest in inherited cardiac conditions such as cardiomyopathy, inherited arrhythmia such as Long QT syndrome, Brugada syndrome, raised cholesterol (familial hypercholesterolaemia) and genetic causes of aortic and vascular aneurysm or dissection. I perform coronary angiography, coronary angioplasty and stent insertion, echocardiography, exercise testing and heart rhythm monitoring.
