About me
I am a Principal Clinical Psychologist registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC), with over 15 years' NHS experience across major London trusts including Camden & Islington, Guy's and St Thomas', and the Tavistock & Portman. I have led NHS teams and maintain a private practice.
My clinical focus is complex trauma, with experience across refugee services, looked-after children and social care, oncology and haematology, and adult intensive care settings. I am an accredited EMDR therapist and have published on EMDR clinical practice, refugee care, race, and migration.
I hold post?qualification training in Systemic approaches including Narrative Therapy, Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Analytical Psychology, and I am trained in somatic approaches that attend to distress held in the body and to embodied healing. I am also a COMPASS Pathwaysaccredited psychedelic-assisted therapist with clinical?trial experience; within a careful, ethical framework I offer preparation and integration support for those exploring these experiences.
In private practice I work with young people and adults presenting with trauma, anxiety, relationship difficulties, low mood, burnout, life transitions, grief and bereavement, or a sense of being stuck. I also provide workplace wellbeing support and organisational consultation and have expertise in these areas. My approach is collaborative, respectful, and confidential, attending to the wider social, cultural, political, family, and transgenerational contexts that shape experience. Alongside understanding difficulties, we work to reconnect with strengths, values, and hopes to move toward a more meaningful, values?aligned life even in the face of difficulty.
Finding the right therapist can take time given the level of trust we place when we are at our most vulnerable. If you'd like to explore working together, please get in touch to arrange a brief, free initial call.
