About me
Dr Louy Ghazal is a Consultant Musculoskeletal Radiologist working in NHS and private practice clinics across Hampshire and Berkshire. He completed his radiology training in 2017 and accomplished highly sought-after musculoskeletal radiology fellowships with leading British radiologists at the world-renowned Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre (Oxford) and the internationally acclaimed Stoke Mandeville Hospital Spinal Centre.
Dr Ghazal’s expertise covers the entire spectrum of musculoskeletal radiology. He has specialist skills in all aspects of diagnostic and image guided MSK intervention, with a particular intertest in more complex minimally invasive ultrasound guided procedures.
He has a strong musculoskeletal background - being a formally qualified physiotherapist, attained postgraduate training in sports & exercise injury as well as acquiring FRCS level orthopaedic surgical training experience. Dr Ghazal has frequently attended and taught at accredited national and international radiology courses and conferences.
In addition to his daily NHS duties, he is a supervisor for reporting radiographer training of X-Ray and MSK MRI scans. Dr Ghazal has a strong interest in major trauma imaging and is an active member of the Trauma and Major Incident Committee at his NHS trust.
