About me

I trained at Cambridge followed by Charing Cross Hospital where I qualified in 1985. I was appointed to Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells trust in 1996 initially at Maidstone Hospital and then at Tunbridge Wells Hospital. I now work solely as an Independent Consultant specialising in soft tissue knee surgery for which I carry out arthroscopy and anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction. In addition I specialise in both the conservative and operative management of knee arthritis My private practice covers Kent based at the Spire Alexandra Hospital in Chatham.

I pride myself on communication. I believes that listening, explaining knee problems in understandable terms and ensuring that patients have all the information needed to make their own management decisions is essential. I have a very simple but important mission statement "I give the same quality of care to my patients as I would want my family and friends to receive". The published reviews of my care in iwantgreatcare.org reflects my mission statement and for the sixth year running in 2023, I have been awarded a certificate of excellence for patient care.
