About me

I am a Practitioner Counselling Psychologist chartered by the British Psychological Society (BPS) and registered with the HCPC. I am an accredited Cognitive Behavioural Therapist with the British Association of Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapists (BABCP). I am also trained in Family and Systemic Psychotherapy. I have extensive experience working in both the NHS and in private practice offering consultation, assessment, formulation, psychological therapy treatment and supervision. I work with adults, children and families on a one to one and group basis. I am skilled in, and integrate my practice with a variety of approaches including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Mindfulness based Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT), in addition to attachment theory and systemic psychotherapy. I offer face to face and remote video sessions.

Areas of interest

I have worked with many people presenting with difficulties including anxiety, low mood, depression, panic, stress, obsessive compulsive disorder, low self esteem and self confidence, trauma and PTSD, I also work on a relational level to help individuals and families identify presenting difficulties and then make changes in-line with their goals and personal values.
