About me

I am an integrative, BACP accredited counsellor and have 13 years’ experience working in a variety of counselling settings. These include private practice, Employee Assistance Programmes, secondary schools and a charity supporting families. I have taught on a Counselling degree course for several years.


There are times when life becomes very difficult. Maybe it is because of an event in the present - there is a bereavement, a significant relationship breaks down, a job is lost, work stress becomes too much, a crime is committed against you, you are in debt…. Maybe it is because something in the past remains unresolved – a traumatic experience, a difficult childhood, a betrayal. Maybe it is a combination of many things. As an integrative, BACP accredited counsellor I work collaboratively with you to explore the difficulties you are experiencing. I offer my skills, respect, compassion and hope.
