About me

What a “meaningful life” looks like is different for everyone, and so I take a personal approach to psychology. Focusing on what matters in their life, I work with people to understand the barriers and psychological issues that are keeping them stuck and help them to learn ways to live deeply, and well.

Advanced psychological approaches - As a Clinical Psychologist with 15 years experience in a wide range of psychological interventions, I am able to select and tailor the intervention to suit the individual. I specialise in ACT, which is an advanced form of cognitive-behavioural therapy based equally in science and ancient knowledge. I use evidence-based techniques to help people to handle the difficult and distressing mental experiences and emotions that get in the way.

Real Psychology: Online - I am an enthusiastic and experienced practitioner of online psychology because of the wide range of practical and clinical benefits. Using videocall means we open a conversation at a convenient time and place for you. In doing that, we create a space that exists only in our connection! We can put your concern into that space, and take a good look at it, together.

Dive Psychology – A keen scuba diver since 2007, I have a dual-profession as a diving instructor and a specialist interest in working with divers. Since 2015 I have helped scuba divers overcome issues such as panic, anxiety and other psychological barriers to diving. I work confidentially with diving professionals who are experiencing issues preventing them from working, or advancing in their diving career. I also provide support for divers who are having difficulties following from distressing or traumatic diving incidents.

Providing online services means that I am able to work with a much larger range of divers, across geographical areas, and therefore develop expertise as a specialist in Dive Psychology.
