About me

I have 20+ years' experience as a Counselling Psychologist in the NHS and private practice. I offer therapy "in person"/ face to face and via video links.
In private practice I offer treatment for all common mental health presentations such as anxiety, depression, trauma and loss, OCD,
and for more complex cases in which there may be a history of early childhood disturbance or abuse from which dissociative disorders and or physical health problems may have developed.
I also offer treatment for people with borderline personality disorder, eating disorders, addictive behaviours and dissociative disorders provided treatment can be safely managed in a community setting without access to emergency resources.
My treatment plans are broadly based on a cognitive behavioural formulation which is informed by attachment theory and how the nervous system is affected by experiences of attachment to others and / or trauma. I use EMDR and CBT as my main therapeutic modalities, but also take into account interpersonal dynamics within the therapeutic relationship. Please see my website ejploszajski.co.uk for further information

I offer psychological therapy to adults of working age and those who have retired. I treat anxiety, depression, OCD, PTSD and complex PTSD, complex grief and loss, dissociative disorders, eating disorders, addictive behaviours, borderline personality disorder. I use EMDR, CBT and DBT informed interventions.
