Honorary Professor, University of Glasgow, Consultant Cardiologist, Glasgow Royal Infirmary. Visiting Professor of Cardiology, Mayo Clinic and Cleveland Clinic, USA.
Professor Brady graduated from Edinburgh University in 1985. He trained in Cardiology at the Hammersmith Hospital, London Chest Hospital and the National Heart and Lung Institute, London.
During his research time Professor Brady won the British Cardiac Society Award and the American Heart Association Young Investigator Award. He has published >90 papers and delivered >200 national/international lectures on many aspects of cardiovascular medicine. Professor Brady has worked extensively with SIGN, NICE and international guidelines agencies. Past President, British and Irish Hypertension Society. Past Chairman, Guidelines Committee, British Cardiovascular Society. He conceived, developed and led Football Health Scotland.
