Our Team:

Emily Bourne, MCSP, AACP, PG Cert:

Emily is the company director and our practice principle. She has over 14 years' experience in a wide range of roles. She continues to work part time in the NHS as an advanced practitioner, operating within local GP practices. This role makes Emily highly skilled in triage, assessment and diagnostics.

Emily is a musculoskeletal specialist, including sports injuries. She has extensive experience working with football and rugby players during roles at Fulham FC, New Zealand Football and Tawa Rugby club (NZ), however she enjoys working with a variety of different sports. Her sporting experience has made her a skilled clinician in the acute assessment of injuries as well as gaining expertise in movement screening and injury management.

In recent years, Emily has been developing her experience in oncology physiotherapy, particularly working with people post-operatively and assisting with their wider cancer rehabilitation. She is a certified scar therapy practitioner and uses these skills in conjunction with other hands on manual therapy techniques, as well as individualized exercise prescription, fatigue management and self-manage advice.

She has gained post-graduate level training in manual therapy and acupuncture and is currently studying for a masters degree in MSK advanced clinical practice.

Anne Monk, MCSP

Anne qualified from St Mary's Paddington and has over 30 years experience in both the NHS and private sector. Her expertise is on the diagnosis, management and treatment of musculoskeletal conditions, particularly spinal, shoulder and lower limb rehabilitation. She also has extensive experience in the treatment of orthopaedic conditions including post-operative surgery rehab and those that require conservative management. When working with clients, Anne combines her post-grad training skills in hands-on manual therapy and exercise rehab with a whole person approach to her Physiotherapy.

Anne's interests are all things sporting, particularly running, netball, tennis and horse riding.

Lauren Betts-Bucke, MCSP

Lauren is an experienced Physiotherapist having qualified from the University of Nottingham in 2011. She has extensive experience in treating a range of MSK conditions, with a special interest in spinal pain and lower limb injuries. Lauren continues to work part time in the NHS as an advanced clinical practitioner, allowing her to excel in diagnostic skills. Lauren also has post-graduate skills in acupuncture and manual therapy.

Lauren is our resident weightlifting expert, a sport which she enjoys, along with athletics. In her spare time, Lauren is busy with her young family, baking or relaxing with a book.
