Our Team:

Emily Bourne, MCSP, AACP:

Emily is the company director and our practice principle. She has over 14 years' experience in a wide range of roles, both in the NHS, private practice and sporting settings. She continues to work part time in the NHS as an advanced practice physio, operating within local GP practices in a first contact practitioner role. This role makes Emily highly skilled in triage, assessment and diagnostics.

Emily's private practice work has predominantly been in New Zealand, where she lived for 5 years. In her time overseas, Emily specialized in MSK, sports rehab and occupational health rehab. She also has extensive experience working with football and rugby players during roles at Fulham FC, New Zealand Football and Tawa Rugby club (NZ), however she enjoys working with a variety of different sports. Her sporting experience has made her a skilled clinician in the acute assessment of injuries as well as gaining expertise in movement screening and injury management.

She has gained post-graduate level training in manual therapy and acupuncture and is currently studying for a masters degree in MSK advanced clinical practice. In her non-clinical time she is a busy mum of two, enjoys listening to jazz, going rock climbing and playing football.

Anne Monk, MCSP

Anne qualified from St Mary's Paddington and has over 30 years experience in both the NHS and private sector. Her expertise is on the diagnosis, management and treatment of musculoskeletal conditions, particularly spinal, shoulder and lower limb rehabilitation. She also has extensive experience in the treatment of orthopaedic conditions including post-operative surgery rehab and those that require conservative management. When working with clients, Anne combines her post-grad training skills in hands-on manual therapy and exercise rehab with a whole person approach to her Physiotherapy.

Anne's interests are all things sporting, particularly running, netball, tennis and horse riding.
