About me
If you are finding life challenging at this time, experiencing low mood, anxiety, bereavement, or any experience that is affecting you, I can help. I am a counselling psychologist, counsellor and cognitive behavioural therapist with over fourteen years experience of working in mental health with excellent. I have worked in the NHS, Priory and in various social enterprises and charities.
As an accredited Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist I completed years of specialist training at the University of Exeter and I have studied psychology for over twelve years. I provide Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) for a range of difficulties including Depression and Anxiety. I use a person-centred approach integrating psychodynamic theory, compassion focused therapy, EMDR (a trauma focused therapy), mindfulness and other tools from my training. As a counselling psychologist the therapeutic relationship we have is important to me so I want to ensure you feel comfortable and listened to. I a trained in several approaches which means I am able to integrate the ones that work best for your needs.
I am a reflective compassionate practitioner, and I hope to work with you on your difficulties in an empathetic and considerate manner.
I look forward to hearing from you and reflecting together on your therapeutic needs at this time. Presently I only offer therapy remotely.
