About me

If you are finding life challenging at this time, experiencing low mood, anxiety, bereavement, or any experience that is affecting you, I can help. I am a counselling psychologist with over sixteen years experience of working in mental health with excellent results. I have worked in the NHS, Priory and in various social enterprises and charities.

As an accredited Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist I completed years of specialist training at the University of Exeter and I have studied psychology for twenty years. I provide Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) for a range of difficulties including Depression and Anxiety.
I have a wealth of experience with phobias, OCD, burnout and stress.
I use a person-centred approach integrating psychodynamic theory, compassion focused therapy, EMDR (a trauma focused therapy), mindfulness and other tools from my training. As a counselling psychologist the therapeutic relationship we have is important to me so I want to ensure you feel comfortable and listened to. I am trained in several approaches which means I am able to integrate the ones that work best for your needs.
I am a reflective compassionate practitioner, and I look forward to working with you on your difficulties in an empathetic and considerate manner. I offer a neuro-affirming space for persons with ADHD and autism.

I look forward to hearing from you and reflecting together on your therapeutic needs at this time.
