About me

Being a young person in the modern day world is hard going, especially with all the added pressure directed at them from social media, school etc..... No wonder they feel stressed, worried or down. In my experience young people need someone impartial to talk to that will listen to them and empower them to make changes so that life becomes more manageable. I work with lots of young people of all ages giving them a confidential space to talk about their problems, help them think about the goals they want to achieve and provide them with strategies to help them to manage the difficulties they are facing.
I've worked in child and adolescent mental health for 15 years now, with experience working in local government, the NHS and the Priory Hospital. I'm an Integrative therapist which means I use different therapeutic models to best suit my client's needs putting them in the driving seat of their therapy whilst steering them in the right direction.

It's hard to know what to do when your child is in crisis or having difficulties that you're not sure how to manage. Feel free to call me for a chat to see if you think we can work together, I aim to work alongside you so we can help your son/daughter through this difficult time in their life. So I'm happy to help and give advice where I can.

Having spent over fifteen years supporting young people, I naturally found myself working closely with their parents and caregivers too. Through these conversations and assessments, it became clear that many adults were carrying their own emotional baggagesometimes rooted in childhood, other times shaped by life's ups and downs.
Time and again, I found myself helping adults navigate these challenges, whether it was improving communication with their children or understanding the deeper issues affecting their families. Recognising how important it is for adults to feel supported in their own right.
I qualified as an adult counsellor in 2023. Now, I offer dedicated support to adults who want to work through stuff in their past, resolve issues in the present or just get some support with the challenges that everyday life throws at us.
