About me

I offer face to face, I have undertaken extensive counselling training and gained experience working with adults of all ages and backgrounds with diverse and complex difficulties. I am thoroughly trained to Masters level in Integrative counselling; which means I am fully competent to use several proven theories of counselling. Allowing me to uniquely tailor how I work based on your individual needs. I have a particular interest in Substance misuse issues (drugs and alcohol), family systems and relationship issues.
I can help you to feel generally happier and more confident to discover your potential, increase your self worth; enabling you to become more empowered and able to make healthy choices and changes. Helping you to have better relationships with your family, friends and work colleagues.

Counselling is a talking therapy. However, I offer more than just listening to you. I can help you to gain a greater understanding of yourself, helping you to have enhanced insight and understanding about how you became you, how your difficulties arose and how they are presently impacting on you. We can look a creating a plan of action to help you to reconcile your issues, or help you to find a way to move forward which feels right for you. I can offer you coping strategies and techniques to help you manage better both now and in the future. A plan of work will be made together, to suit you and what you would like to address in our sessions together.
