About me

I am an experienced, Senior Clinical Psychologist who has worked for the NHS since 2004. I have many years experience in helping people gain an understanding of their difficulties and the evidenced-based approaches that can work for their individual needs.

I can offer specialist assessment and treatment to suit your individual needs in a compassionate and non-judgemental environment.
I have experience and expertise in a wide range of issues that people commonly experience such as anxiety and depression. I also have a specialist interest and experience in working with eating disorders (including a wide range of food and body related issues) and people coping with physical health conditions such as chronic pain and diabetes.

No two people are the same and good psychological therapy should reflect that. Through my training and career in the NHS, I am trained in a number of different evidence-based approaches, that can be combined and adapted to suit your individual needs and goals as you move through therapy.

Areas of interest

I specialise in the following areas, Anxiety disorders; Depression; Physical Health Conditions such as chronic pain and diabetes; Disordered Eating; Body Image Issues; trauma; relationship issues; self-esteem; stress.
I see working age adults; and older adults.
I often draw from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT); Compassion Focussed Therapy (CFT); Cognitive Behavioural Therapy; and various other approaches to help people move forwards.
