About me
Dr Prabhakaran Naveen is a consultant psychiatrist based in Bristol, with more than 20 years' experience in general adult psychiatry within the NHS across training, specialty doctor and consultant appointments. He was admitted to the GMC Specialist Register in 2016 and holds MRCPsych and an LLM in Legal Aspects of Medical Practice.
His clinical practice at Priory hospital in Bristol encompasses psychosis, mood disorders, psychological trauma, post-traumatic stress disorder and anxiety disorders. Since 2020, he has maintained an independent outpatient practice at Priory Group Hospital in Bristol, and since 2023 he has served as a CQC Second Opinion Appointed Doctor.
Dr Naveen undertakes medico-legal assessments and prepares expert witness reports. He has previously held NHS responsibilities in leadership, appraisal, educational supervision and clinical supervision for senior medical colleagues and psychiatric trainees.

I do not undertake ASC or ADHD assessments, Dementias or brain injury assessments.
