About me
I am a fellowship-trained Shoulder and Elbow Surgeon with a proven track record of clinical excellence and international leadership. Since my appointment as a Consultant in Yr 2019, I have been dedicated to deliver-ing high-quality, evidence-based care, specializing in complex primary and revision surgery. My surgical foundation is built on rigorous training within the Royal London rotation, including specialized tenures at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital (RNOH) Shoulder and Peripheral Nerve Units. This was followed by prestigious sub-specialty fellowships at the Wrightington and Nottingham units.
With over 56 months of dedicated sub-specialist training, my expertise is underpinned by several of the high-est honours in the field, including the John Charnley Gold Medal (2018) and the Freeman Prize (2013). Fur-thermore, as a recipient of the prestigious British Shoulder and elbow society (BESS) North American Travel-ling Fellowship, I gained invaluable experience at world-leading centres of excellence, including the Mayo Clinic and the Rothman Institute. I actively integrate the world-class techniques and clinical insights acquired at these institutions into my daily practice to ensure the highest standards of patient care.
Beyond the operating theatre, I am deeply committed to the advancement of the specialty through leadership and education. In 2024, I was appointed to the Executive Council of the European Society for Surgery of the Shoulder and the Elbow (SECEC) and currently serve as the Chair of the Healthcare Delivery Committee. I also contribute to the maintenance of global surgical standards as an Examiner for the SECEC European Board Exams. My international standing was further established by my election to the American Shoulder and Elbow Surgeons (ASES) in 2021. I invest heavily in teaching, serving as faculty on shoulder and elbow courses and delivering Instructional Course Lectures (ICL).
My dedication to surgical excellence has been recognized through the Outstanding Patient Care Award (2025-26). My independent PHIN data and Doctify patient reviews stand as a testa-ment to the technical precision and transparency that define my practice. I am passionate about utilizing my dual expertise in clinical surgery and strategic leadership to develop and lead a premier shoulder, elbow and upper limb service
