About me
Mr. Jagwant Singh is a fellowship-trained upper limb orthopaedic surgeon dedicated to providing his patients with the highest quality of care through the application of advanced surgical techniques. He specializes in all aspects of shoulder and elbow surgery, with a particular focus on joint preservation, minimally invasive arthroscopic procedures, joint replacement, and the management of complex upper limb trauma.
Mr. Singh's surgical expertise is built upon a robust academic foundation, having trained on the prestigious North East Thames (Royal London) rotation. He subsequently refined his specialized skills through fellowships at the world-renowned Wrightington Hospital and the Nottingham Shoulder and Elbow Unit. His commitment to global innovation is further evidenced by his extensive international travelling fellowships at leading orthopaedic units across the USA and Europe, including the prestigious British Shoulder and Elbow Society (BESS) fellowship to North America.
Beyond his clinical practice, Mr. Singh is a respected author, researcher, and educator. Based at the Lewisham and Greenwich NHS Trust, he plays a central role in clinical research and the mentorship of junior trainees. His leadership in the field is recognized internationally; he currently serves as Chair of the Healthcare Delivery Committee and is privileged to serve on the Executive Council of the European Shoulder and Elbow Society. In recognition of his significant contributions to the specialty, he was elected to the Society of American Shoulder and Elbow Surgeons in 2021 and holds the position of Honorary Senior Lecturer at King's College London.
Mr. Singh's comprehensive practice covers the full spectrum of shoulder and elbow pathology. His expertise includes the management of chronic shoulder pain, stiffness, impingement, and rotator cuff and instability procedures, alongside specialized treatments for Biceps and Pectoralis tendinopathy and ruptures. Furthermore, he provides expert care for shoulder and elbow arthritis, nerve compression syndromes, "Tennis" and "Golfer's" elbow, and complex upper limb fracturesincluding elbow fracture-dislocations, wrist fractures, and collateral ligament injuries. Mr. Singh sees private patients at The Princess Grace Hospital, The London Clinic, Spire London East Hospital, and the BMI London Hospitals.
